  • Post Traumatic Stress A look at Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in both the military and civilian environments. What is this condition? What gives rise to it? How is it diagnosed? What is the prognosis for treatment and support for people dealing with PTSD themselves and for their families.

  • Men at Risk is a program targeted to adult men working in trades, industry and agriculture and those who interact with them. The program delivers information and ideas for healthy ways of coping with problems; what to do with someone at risk of suicide; and resources for getting help.

  • Canadian Executives Serving Overseas (CESO) is a not-for-profit organization that helps to build proud independent communities. Volunteer Advisers on the CESO roster share their professional experience by serving as mentors, advisers and trainers to their clients and partners at home and abroad.

  • Drumming In today’s stressful world people need safe places where they can go to get out of the rat race, to be still, unwind and reinvigorate their tired bodies and minds. Our drum circle workshop will focus on providing you the opportunity to express yourself freely, communicate authentically without words and feel the support of a community of like-minded people.

  • Teaching Peace In A Culture of War To follow in the footsteps of Jesus of Nazareth and find the Living Spirit of Christ in the reality of our lives today it is imperative to comprehend the inherent violence of our living culture today. Comprehending “The medium” which is “the message” and how if forms and informs us through violence, intimidation and shame is a place to begin to learn and teach a Culture of Peace.

  • TUXIS Parliament of Alberta A provincial youth parliament which has been educating young men and women. Come learn about our unique organization and the important role we play in our member's lives.

  • Everyday Ethics "What is the different between an ethical man and a moral man?" - yes, we can all "google" that one, but how does that apply to our lives? Should I make personal phone calls or e-mail my friends while at work? Is there such a thing as "lesser evil" and if so, can I choose it? This workshop will examine similar questions and selected challenges we face each day along with their ethical/moral implications. There will be a little "lecturing", some conversation and a bit of self-reflection.

  • Oikocredit Most of the world’s population lives in poverty. Oikocredit is a financial cooperative composed of people who are willing to invest their money in loans. These loans to poor people have become the answer for millions of people, who are now being given the chance to work their way out of poverty and reclaim their dignity.
